Town & Country TC36

DDV technology is the perfect marriage of sealed combustion direct vent technology and the traditional beauty of an open fireplace. Typical gas fireplaces using standard direct vent technology have small, lazy looking flames. They limit the amount of combustion air entering the firebox, resulting in this “less than desirable” flame.

Town & Country Fireplaces with its DDV technology does not limit the air and produces large, bright, active flames.

A Town & Country fireplace most accurately replicates the fire seen in a wood fireplace of days gone by. This unique quality is the reason that Town & Country fireplaces are constructed a little differently than their conventional direct vent cousins. Town & Country fireplaces are made with the very best materials. The firebox is constructed of 12 gauge welded aluminized steel which is three to four times thicker than conventional direct vent fireplaces. In order to withstand the high temperatures required to produce the beautiful fire of the Town & Country, ceramic glass is used. Ceramic glass is not susceptible to thermal breakage like tempered glass and is, in fact, the same glass used on wood burning stoves.

Town & Country TC36

Fireplace Craftsmanship

  • The TC36 has all the features of the TC42 but is slightly smaller to suit medium or smaller size rooms.
  • Town & Country's Decorative Direct Vent technology allows for a multitude of installations, whether new construction or a renovation. And it is all supported with our "Best in the Industry" Lifetime Warranty.
  • The Town & Country fireplace is designed to give the appearance that the glass isn’t even there, which gives you a full view of the fire.

Flush Hearth System and CONTROL CENTRE™

  • Flush Hearth System and CONTROL CENTRE™ Traditional wood burning fireplaces have a flush hearth or, in other words, the base of the fire can be at floor level. Until now, all gas fireplaces had a raised hearth to allow room for the gas controls to be hidden below.
  • A Town & Country fireplace hearth isn't raised. Our engineers found a way to move the gas controls out of the way by placing them in a box with a flexible conduit.
  • The whole control box can be situated up to five linear feet away from the fireplace, even in another room.
  • This flush hearth system is just one more patented component of the most realistic gas fireplace on the market today.
