The Renaissance 1500’s firebox opening is almost 50% larger than the Rumford 1000. This new addition to the Renaissance family utilizes much of the advanced technology of the original as a building block; it is essentially a completely different fireplace from the ground up. The Renaissance is all about beautiful fire and ultra low emissions and we haven’t had to sacrifice performance for size!

The Uptown’s clean design and moderate size offer endless possibilities for style and expression. The built-in guillotine door and screen glide smoothly on vertical rails using bearings and duo counterweights. Both the guillotine and tilt forward systems simplify loading, operation, and maintenance while providing safety to those wanting the experience of a 600 in2 view of a beautiful, open, crackling fire.

Contemporary wood burning at its finest. At 50” wide, the wall to wall fire of the L50 is an experience unlike any other. As with all Renaissance Fireplaces, the door and screen open with an elegant guillotine system. The L50 includes a HRS (Heat Recovery System) to distribute some of the heat throughout the home using ducts.
